Good day everyone!

I wanted to start off by giving you a very brief and hopefully in no way boring introduction without going into all the nitty gritty and leaving me nothing else to write about!!!!!

It’s hard to introduce myself without introducing my two daughters, so I will try and keep it short and sweet and hopefully you will want to come back and learn more about our family journey.

My name is Aimi, I am 33 (nearly 34) years old (and in complete denial of my age, I still feel 23!). We live in the West Country not far from Bath, UK.

My husband (James) and I have been together for nearly 12years and married for 6 of those! He works in the Royal Navy and I am a Social Work manager within families & children’s services. As well as our girls, we have two fur babies. Tommy the springer spaniel & Max the cast.

Ayda Violet is our first born. She was born at 32weeks dead on via emergency caesarean. Il talk about her rather abrupt arrival in its own blog, it’s a gooden!! She’s 3 now and you would never know she had been born 8 weeks too early.

Winnie Rose was born at 34+6 weeks, we were so close to making it to 35 weeks, but like her sister she’d had enough waiting and out she came! Winnie turned 1 in February. I will do a few blogs around Winnie’s arrival for our little Covid baby.

Together we make up The Jones Family, and even though my husband is completely out numbered, we are happy and our family is complete.

That really is the briefest of brief overviews, hopefully you’ll see fit to come back and enjoy some slightly meatier blogs and plenty of pictures.
